We are looking for a reliable, discreet, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to support the smooth running of our
family home and a small office on the property. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean,
organized, and welcoming environment, while respecting the privacy and routines of the household. Prior
experience working in a private home is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• General organization of the household
• Daily cleaning of all living spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas
• Laundry and ironing, including care for delicate or specialty garments
• Changing bed linens and towels on a regular schedule
• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of kitchen and pantry, including occasional refrigerator and oven
cleaning
• Organizing household items, closets, and storage spaces
• Grocery unpacking and household supply restocking
• Weekday meal prep or assistance in the kitchen (if needed)
• Occasional cooking and serving for guests and clients
• Caring for fine finishes, furnishings, and special surfaces with appropriate products
• Taking out trash and recycling, managing bins for collection
• Light gardening work
• Reporting maintenance issues or safety concerns
• Following household routines, preferences, and any special instructions
• Respecting the family’s privacy, schedules, and lifestyle
Requirements:
• Proven housekeeping experience in a private home or similar setting
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Knowledge of safe use of cleaning products and care for various materials
• Trustworthy, discreet, and respectful of confidentiality
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks and stand for extended periods
• Good communication skills and a pleasant, professional demeanor
• Criminal Record Certificate (Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in a household in a foreign country
Job Details:
• Language English or German
• 25 working days of holidays
• Normally 8 working hours per day from Monday to Friday (flexibility of times for language coures etc. if
required)
• Accomodation provided in a separate flat in the villa (app. 50 m2 with separate bedroom, living room
with kitchen, bathroom with shower and access to garden
